GOLFGLADE

Cookie Policy

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember things between page loads and visits. This policy explains the few kinds GolfGlade uses and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

What We Keep to a Minimum

GolfGlade is deliberately light on cookies. The calculators run entirely in your browser and do not need a cookie to work, and we do not set our own tracking or profiling cookies to follow you around the web. We also do not currently run a separate web-analytics tracker such as Google Analytics.

Essential Cookies

A small number of cookies are needed for the site to function — for example, to keep a page working correctly or to remember that you dismissed the newsletter prompt. These cannot really be switched off without breaking parts of the site, and they do not identify you.

Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display ads, which is what keeps the tools free. Google and its partners may set cookies to show and measure ads and to limit how often you see the same one. These cookies are set by Google, not by us, and are governed by Google’s own policies.

Managing Cookies

Browser Settings

Most browsers let you control cookies in their “Settings,” “Options,” or “Preferences” menu — you can block all cookies, allow only some, or be warned before one is set. Blocking everything may stop parts of the site from working properly.

Opting Out of Advertising Cookies

You can turn off personalised advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices, and will post any changes here with a new “Last updated” date.
