Welcome to GolfGlade (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of golfglade.com and all of its golf calculators, guides, and related features (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Acceptance and Changes

By accessing or using GolfGlade, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after a change means you accept the current version.

Educational Estimates, Not Official Records

The Service exists to give general, educational estimates for practice and planning. The handicap, club-distance, swing-speed, shot-dispersion, pace-of-play, and Stableford calculators apply standard formulas to the numbers you enter; their results are practice aids, not official handicap indexes, course ratings, or rulings under the Rules of Golf. GolfGlade is not a golf association, a handicap authority, or a governing body, and it is not affiliated with the USGA, The R&A, or any club or tour. A handicap index you can post in competition is issued only by an authorised handicapping body through your club, so use our figures to understand your game, not as an official score of record.

What the Service Provides

GolfGlade offers, free of charge:

• A personal club distance and gapping chart
• A swing-speed distance calculator
• A shot-dispersion calculator
• A pace-of-play estimator, and a Stableford points scorer
• Educational guides, a Learn section, and an illustrated Golf Heritage Gallery

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

Your Responsibilities

When you use the Service, you agree to:

• Use the tools in good faith for your own personal practice and enjoyment of the game
• Enter accurate figures, and check the scores, ratings, slopes, and speeds before relying on a result
• Take responsibility for how you use the numbers, and confirm anything that affects a posted score or competition with your club or association
• Not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others’ rights

Assumption of Risk

Golf involves physical activity that carries a risk of injury, and the guides and fitness content here are general information, not medical or coaching advice. You use the Service at your own risk and remain responsible for your own health and safety. If you are starting a new exercise or speed-training routine, consider consulting a doctor or a qualified golf or fitness professional first.

No Warranty

The Service is provided “as is.” While we aim for accuracy, we make no warranties, express or implied, that calculations are error-free or fit for your particular purpose, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GolfGlade and its suppliers will not be liable for any damages — including personal injury, loss, or loss of data — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

Intellectual Property

The site’s original text, design, and calculator code are the property of GolfGlade and protected by copyright. Gallery and Learn material sourced from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons remains under its original licenses. You may use the tools for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy or repurpose the site’s materials for commercial use without permission.

Third-Party Links and Advertising

The Service may link to third-party sites and displays advertising through networks such as Google AdSense. We do not control or endorse third-party content, and using any linked site or advertised product is at your own risk.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction for any dispute.
